MEET THE ENEMY
They’re small, parasitic and they’re the reason the word ‘lousy’ is part of the English language. Lice now infest nearly half of the nation’s 4 – 11 year olds every year. They’ve evolved around chemical warfare, they’ve outwitted increasingly busy parents, and they’ve taken advantage of the changes in schools where human children learn and play in increasingly close proximity.
SPECIAL INTEL
Schools, government and information sites everywhere try to keep parents in the know with the general facts. But it’s our special intelligence that gives Lice Assassins the edge in what is every parent’s war on terror. Because we know that lice have developed a resistance to 80% of chemical treatments, we do not use chemical warfare but clear by hand and only by hand. Because we know that a fully-grown louse can move up to 23 cm in a minute, we have developed a system to cramp that movement. Because we know the female louse only needs to mate once (she simply stores what she needs in a special compartment in her body and keeps using it to make nits) we know that finding 1 louse could still mean a lot of damage, so we have developed a meticulous clearing process. Because we know that some kids itch but others don’t, we have developed a system of checking as well as clearing.
Lice have terrorised the nation’s scalps for too long but we’re changing that.
