This was a significant day in the life of The Hairforce and its growing team of Lice Assassins. The BBC News teams came out in force to spread the word throughout London and the South East about The Hairforce and the unique service it offers to all parents and children.

The morning started with an interview by BBC London 94.9 FM Radio on their Breakfast Show. The interview was broadcast live from The Hairforce Lounge whilst a full clear was taking place. Later that morning the BBC TV News team came along to film The Hairforce Lounge in action, interviewing clients and the Lice Assassin team at work. Both the camerman and Sarah Harris, the interviewer commented on how this had been singled out as a brilliant story by the Editorial team back at the BBC’s Headquarters – ‘a real innovation that all parents need to be aware of’.

Later News Round came to film for their following Monday show. They had felt passionately that children would want to know about The Hairforce’s existence and that it is there to turn to.

The day ended with half a dozen client appointments and a live studio interview on BBC News 24 in the evening – quite a day and quite an honour!
